Barn Hill Preserve’s New Free-Flying Macaw Aviary

Donation protected
Help Our Macaws!

Barn Hill Preserve needs help constructing a new free-flying macaw aviary. Currently, we have over 20 rescued Macaw parrots from owners who could no longer properly care for them. Unlike other bird rescues, our rescued Macaws are able, for the first time in their lives, to free-fly out in the open air.

These birds are extremely intelligent and live a long time (up to 80 years). Because they live a long life, it is essential to expand their habitats if we want to rescue more macaws. Barn Hill Preserve's current macaw area is at maximum capacity and in serious need of major reconstruction. We want to give our birds the best possible environment to thrive.

We ask you to help us in our efforts to construct a new aviary to give rescued macaws a long, happy, and safe life at our preserve. Please contribute- any donation helps us get closer to our goal!

Thank you for taking the time to learn about our project. YOU can help rescued macaws fly!
