We are deeply grieved by the tragic loss of life in our community, and especially for the lives of our dear friends and colleagues who were among the victims of the recent shootings.
Karen Barclay and Dianne Look were both warm, wonderful women who were beloved by our Marathon Savings Bank family. We are heartbroken over the loss of our friends and mourn for their families and for the families of all of the victims.
We have been approached by many people who are seeking a way to support these two families during this difficult time. In response, the bank has setup the “Barclay & Look Family Fund" to provide a way for the community to help. In addition, the bank has provided a separate foundational gift of $30,000 to the Family Fund.
Dianne Look, 67, was an Assistant Vice President and Office Manager and had been with the bank for nearly 19 years. Karen Barclay, 62, had been a Customer Service Representative at the bank for six and a half years.
