Barbuda Hurricane Relief Fund
Donation protected
On September 6, Hurricane Irma caused widespread, catastrophic damage to Barbuda - a 62 square mile island in the Caribbean with a population of about 1700 people. Hurricane Irma destroyed 95% of the homes and left one person dead.
As a former Miss Antigua and Barbuda (2007), I am using this platform to raise funds to help rebuild my country. The government of Antigua and Barbuda indicates that it will take about 200 million dollars to make this a reality.
The Barbuda Hurricane Relief Fund will provide relief to survivors in the form of emergency supplies like food, water, medicine and will help with the rebuilding process.
All donations to this fund will be transferred to the Waitt Institute by December 25. To learn more about this organization and how it is helping Barbuda, click on the link. http://www.waittinstitute.org/barbuda-hurricane-relief
Thank you for your generosity.
