Barangay Nijaga Fire Victims

A fire has destroyed almost an entire village here on Samar.  Barangay Nijaga had approximately 189 homes lost and there are approximately 557 people in need of aid.  They lost everything.
Proceeds to be used to buy necessary items for them to survive.  I will find out their needs and acquire for them clothes, toiletries, food, water and even medicine if need be.
Everything acquired will be delivered to their Barangay Captain for distribution.

Update: The expat community here have donated over 10 large bags of clothing.  Thousands of pieces of clothing.  We are getting together more money to buy food, water and other necessities.  Any more donations to help out would be greatly appreciated.

Update: We've made another delivery to the barangay.  More clothes (especially under-garments), pots & pan, eating utensils, linen & a few other things.  They were very organized at the relief center.  I was expecting chaos, but there was none of that.  The barangay captain had a list of which families need what and the ones that needed it the most were first in line.  I'm adding more pictures so everyone can see.  More relief, until they can rebuild their houses, is still needed.
