My childhood home, the present home of both of my parents, two younger sibblings, and niece, caught fire after a nearby transformer exploded. I have only spoken briefly to my mom who was very upset over the phone, so my knowledge is limited, but although all people and dogs are safe, they did lose their pet cats and hamster. The entire back half of the house, including my parents' bedroom and all belongings, are destroyed and the remainder of the home is uninhabitable. They do not have home owner's insurance. 

Please donate in any way you're able, to help them restore belongings, buy groceries, care for their children and provide themselves shelter. This has been devistating to them.
