UPDATE: Coding Dojo Personally reached out to me and said they would match dollar for dollar towards my tuition of $9450 up to $5000, an amazing gesture that I thank them greatly for. Because of this I am able to lower the amount needed to $12k.
I moved to Texas from California in order to provide my family, my wife and 6 kids, with a more stable life than I was able to in California. It has been great here in Texas but unfortunately I have reached a cap on what I can do with my skillset. It has become a struggle for my family – more than they should have to go through.
Now at 40 years old I am looking to change from my software sales career to the other side of the industry, specifically computer software and mobile app programming. Anyone that knows me knows I have a passion for computers and technology but in order to accomplish this switchover, I need some additional education to fill in the blanks and connect the dots.
I am looking to do a complete reset here, work and go to school at night for the intense 18 weeks of classes that I will be taking in Dallas at Coding Dojo. Classes fill up fast and I want to be registered ASAP. I want to start the 1st part of 2017.
Any donations will go to the cost of the school, to purchase a course required laptop and any other miscellaneous living expenses that may come up during the 18 weeks. Any donations above my goal will just make it that much easier to keep focused and not worry while I’m learning.
