Great Backpack Giveaway

On August 2nd, ID Church is going to be giving away backpacks to students in need in the Dover area. We've been in contact with the school district to get a list of supplies the kids need and we are planning to give away over 100 backpacks.
In our effort to make this a true EVENT for the kids, we have arranged for Dover Police and Fire to participate, giving safety talks and tours of their vehicles. This is in addition to free bowling from our host Dover Bowl!
As you can imagine, the cost for 100+ backpacks filled with all the supplies a student needs for the school year isn't inconsequential. We're looking at an event cost around $6000 and our hope is to raise that (and more if possible). Any donations raised in excess of our target goal will be directed to purchasing additional backpacks.
