Baby Jaxon was born premature at 24 weeks gestation on November 8th at 1 lbs 3 oz.
On October 13th Jaxon's family (Eric and Nati-parents) had made a dire pilgrimage to USC becuase baby Jaxon's twin sibling, who they named Jerry, was diagnosed with Acardiac/TRAP Sequence. Sadly Jaxon's brother didn’t make it and mommy needed an emergency surgery to save baby Jaxon. The surgery, Radiofrequency Ablasion, was a success and baby Jaxon's life was saved! It was a great next week with baby Jaxon pulling through as the fluid around his heart had faded and the cardiologist gave him a thumbs up.
Then his mommy started having contractions a few weeks later. Baby Jaxon was trying to make an early appearance! November 4th mommy had to go to the emergency room and was admitted to the hospital for bed rest to stop the contractions. Baby Jaxons family and doctors tried everything for 5 days to keep baby Jaxon from showing up. The situation became dire and Eric and Nati had to make some decisions. He was born via emergancy c-section on Nov 8th at 11:09 am at 1 lb. 3 oz.
Baby Jaxon will be in NICU for a good three months. Eric & Nati are sure to face many challenges for many months to come with many unexpected bills and struggles with keeping new jobs with their first born in NICU. I would be devastated if Eric and Nati lost the home they wanted to start their family in. I want them to look forward to the day they can hold baby Jaxon and take him home.
Seven months ago Eric and Nati moved to Arizona and I am hoping by starting this Gofundme page they have a little less to worry about and can focus on getting Jaxon healthy, strong, and home.
