"Jojo" was born on 11/1/16 we were all so happy to welcome him into the family, he made us all so happy. The first time seeing him was amazing, he was a little ball of sunshine, the way he looked at everyone with love in his eyes. He grew up so fast, he just started walking, talking, and eating by himself. Family and family friends all got attached to him very dearly, he will be missed by all. That little boy meant the world to me, I miss him so much everyday its like a piece of my heart is gone. I will always love him with all my heart. R.I.P Joe Avery James Lockaby. "11/1/16 - 05/31/18"
Jojo was light of many people's life. He touched so many in his short time here with us. He had his blood family and his "auction" family, as well as many other loved friends. Jojo was the type of person that never met a stranger. He was always willing to great everyone in the room with a smile and a hug. He was such a warm loving and smart child. He was one of the most beautiful babies I'd ever seen. He looked like an angel here walking the earth and I truly believe that he was. Such a beautiful miracle taken from us all to early by such a tragic accident.
The family has ask for assistance with final cost due to both parents are currently unemployed and they didn't have enough time to get a life insurance policy started for Joe due to the financial situation. They have really had it hard for the past 3 years. The family would like to thank you all in advance for any help. Please help use by sharing this campaign link.
These funds will be used for the Funeral and Medical Expenses of Joe.
In charge of the final expenses will be his mother, Crista Nix. All donations will be handled by Joe's mother and paid to his Doctors and to Westville Funeral Home of Greenville.

The gofundme page was setup by Joe Lockaby's mother Crista Nix with assistance of a family member. The funds will be used to cover Joe's medical cost and funeral cost. Joe's family is from Pelzer (South Carolina) which is a part of Greenville County.
Joe is survived by his mother Crista Nix of Pelzer, his father James Lockaby of Pelzer, his older brother Micah Hester, and his younger sister Joanna Lockaby. Joe's family currently lives in Pelzer, South Carolina.
Arrangements have been made with Westville Funeral Home and Joe's memorial service will be held at New Life Baptist Church of Greenville.

Everything will be on Monday June 11th, 2018.
Visitation will be from 4pm to 6pm and the memorial service will follow the visitation. We will hold the visitation at our home church, New Life Baptist Church of Greenville. We would like to welcome all of our friends and family to join us.
