House of Blessings Haiti Trip
House of Blessings is home to 14 children in the mountains southeast of Port-au-Prince. But it’s so much more than an orphanage (details here ).
Our team will be primarily focused on building a wall to improve the safety and security of children and staff, and to love and encourage the people we meet.
I need to raise $1,000 total. This includes funds for the materials for the security wall we’ll be building, plus air fare, food and water (which goes not only to our team but for the staff and children at House of Blessings while we’re there), local transportation, and miscellaneous expenses.
If you'd like to support me personally, please do that here through GoFundMe. If you'd like to support the entire team, there's more info about that on the Journey website here.
No gift is too small. Even $10 or $20 would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks for your support!
P.S. This will be my first time serving in Haiti. The pic above is from a 2011 mission trip to Kenya.
Our team leaves tonight. You can follow along with us as we blog daily updates here - http://www.journeydunedin.com/wordpress/blog/
