Thor's Memorial Fund
$38,891 of $40,000 goal
Thor has two brothers, a sister, and a father who depend on him for help both with the family and financially. He was a dedicated, "good boy," and was the cornerstone for his family. His two little brothers feel lost without him helping them with homework and rides.
I am Thor's Aunt and I am helping the family set up this fund as they are financially strapped and cannot afford funeral expenses, nor to take a few days off from work to deal with the tragedy, nor the loss of income they will now face.
They need the money right away to pay for the funeral and memorial...There are many other collateral expenses they have that Thor helped with, such as food, gas, car payments, and utilities.
Thor was well liked in the Lyft community, and previously served as a TSA agent at LAX airport.
Thankfulness is the word.

To all who question the validity of this GoFundMe: I am Uber Man on YouTube, and I have spoken with Debra (Thor's Aunt) and confirmed this is in fact her account, for the family. I will be uploading a video soon, with this very link to my channel. My sincere condolences to the family of this young man. RIP Mr. Anderson.
Thank you so much to everyone who had donated!!! Every $ adds up and our family is very grateful for all of your donations, prayers, and kind words. Thor was a sweet young man, big brother, and son. Keep on sharing and please continue to spread the message to not drink and drive.
I am part of the Lyft Driver Community in Los Angeles and am so saddened and heartbroken for the Anderson family. All my passengers tell me that Lyft drivers are nice and friendly and obviously by the comments of those who knew him Thor embodied those qualities to the nth degree. Godspeed, Thor!
As a member of the Lyft community in Chicago, I'm very saddened of this tragedy. I pray for the family for healing through these difficult times. I appreciate seeing so much support here from fellow members. I hope Lyft will do more to assist with greater financial needs.
My deepest condolences. I'm a Lyft driver in Texas. My family has recently my brother-in-law to cancer, leaving my sister alone with no income and 12 children. We found out the hard way that Go Fund Me keeps a percentage of the donations (10%?). If you start another page, use YouCaring dot com. All of the money goes to the family. Their site is free. You're in our thoughts and prayers.
Steve, services need to happen much sooner than the time it will take for insurance companies to settle this. Thank you for kind words to his family. To his family, please know that his Lyft family is here for you. Please please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you at this time or in the future.
