Hey guys!
b l u e s c r e e n here, moving forward with my campaign to raise funds for my Australian tour!
Back in 2016, I started my Vaporwave net label Sunset Grid with fellow music mate ΔCID.rar and like most music projects, it was a means to express ourselves and have fun creating without having to answer to anyone but ourselves.
Fast forward to 2019, and we've released hundreds of albums by countless producers around the world, collaborated with dozens of fellow labels and visual/video editors, Ive played intimate shows in my new home of Brisbane, and have expanded our circles outward to fans and friends, alike!
It has been a crazy ride when you have an idea and in a flash, you're looking back and all this growth and progress!
One thing that always seemed like a downer was the lack of popularity in the live scene, or rather its scarcity. There are thousands of fans out there and yet, from where I live, feels small and very underground.
So here's the pitch!
I've had some wonderful people suggest touring and that's what I want to do! I want to meet the people I've worked with online, and buy them beers to express my gratitude for helping me. I want to meet fans that always remind me to keep pushing, even when my depression tells me not to. I want to make new memories while i still have the legs to carry me, and be smiling all the way, and above all I want to play music for you all!
The destinations are: Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and back to Brisbane, again! I'll be looking at filling each shows with local talent, both those that I've worked with and those I have not! We all deserve a chance to play.
Play what? A range of Vaporwave, Lo-Fi, Experimental, Funky jams, just about anything if the vibe is right!
If I make more than the goal amount, I'll consider Tasmania, and new Zealand too!
A major chunk of my fan base is also overseas, so if donations reach a considerable amount, I will then consider going to the USA, UK, South Korea, and if the funds really hit astronomical levels, then Europe, Japan, and anywhere else I can play that have fans waiting!
But first things first! This national tour is the immediate goal and I would love for any support you deem worthy of me.
Your generous donations will:
- Help with flights, accommodation and daily living expenses.
- Aid in venue bookings, gear and event promotions for each city.
I'm not going for big room affairs. I want small, intimate and fun atmospheres!
- Get you an exclusive album by me, strictly for supporters!! Just show me that you've helped and you'll get a link to download it!
- Allow any and all photo opportunities, and 'meet and greets' for the pleasure of your company
- Help in booking more shows per city than just one! Want to make it worth your while!
