Enfermedad:
El es Héctor Antonio Cruz, tiene 54 años de edad, vive en El Salvador.
Todo comenzó a finales de noviembre 2018 el empezaba a tener dolores fuertes de cabeza que le provocaban altas fiebres y vómitos, dolores tan intensos que no le permitían concentrarse ni retener información, lo llevamos muchas veces a hospitales a hacerle exámenes pero no había una respuesta concreta, le recetaban medicamentos pero aun así los dolores continuaban. Por lo cual decidimos llevarlo al Hospital Nacional de San Miguel y estuvo internado ahi alrededor de una semana, pues le daban medicamentos para calmar su dolor mientras esperaban los resultados de los exámenes que le habían hecho (Resonancia Magnética Cerebral). El día 18 de diciembre de 2018 fue confirmado su diagnóstico, se trataba de un TUMOR CEREBRAL MALIGNO sumamente agresivo, localizado en una zona extremadamente difícil de evacuar, los médicos decían que los riesgos eran muchos. Sugerían que mejor lo sacáramos del país y ver de que forma lo podían operar fuera. Pero eso requería de una cantidad muy grande de dinero que no podíamos cubrir. Desde ese momento nosotros como familia decidimos agarrarnos de la mano de Dios, pues sabíamos que se aproximaba una situación muy dura la cual teníamos que afrontar con mucha fe.
En medio de tanta oración y búsqueda de ayuda recibimos muy buenas referencias de un neurocirujano y oncólogo excelente en la capital de país, programamos la consulta con el, viajamos hasta ahí, y efectivamente el doctor nos dijo que era un tumor muy delicado y que debía evacuarse lo más pronto posible porque era muy agresivo y crecía muy rápido, que si esperábamos más podia ser demasiado tarde. Y así fue, con la ayuda de Dios, familiares y amigos logramos reunimos el dinero para poder cubrir la operación y todos los gastos hospitalarios y el día 7 de enero 2019 lo intervinieron en el Hospital de Diagnóstico de San Salvador y la operación fue exitosa, el estaba consciente, podía hablar y moverse, nos reconocía a todos, estábamos muy agradecidos que todo había salido bien, pero de pronto el tuvo complicaciones, se le había formado un coágulo en la zona donde habían extraído el tumor y tuvieron que volver a intervenirlo. Al salir de la operación esta vez el ya no se veía muy bien, se le dificultaba hablar y darse a comprender mucho más, ahora mismo se encuentra en recuperación y está mejorando. Pero recién recibimos los resultados de la biopsia y efectivamente el tumor es canceroso, el doctor nos dijo que el necesitará someterse a quimioterapia y radioterapia por 6 meses porque sino recibe estos tratamientos el puede fallecer en 5 meses ya que el tumor vuelve a crecer SI O SI y ahora ya no tenemos dinero para poder seguir con estos tratamientos que son el siguiente paso para que se elimine el cancer.

Y hago esta campaña en nombre de su esposa e hijos, su familia entera y amigos, que se encuentran desesperados porque necesitan reunir esta cantidad de dinero urgentemente lo mas pronto posible para poder cubrir sus gastos médicos, esperar más tiempo es poner en riesgo su vida, por eso necesitamos la ayuda de todos ustedes para poder lograrlo. In the middle of prayers and seeking help we received very good references from an excellent neurosurgeon and oncologist in the country's capital, we scheduled the date with him, we traveled there, and indeed the doctor told us that it was a very delicate tumor and that it has to be evacuate as soon as possible because the tumor was very aggressive and grew very fast, and if we wait more it could be too late then. And so it was, with the help of God, family and friends we managed to collect the money to afford the surgery and all the hospital expenses, so on January 7, 2019 they intervened him and the surgery was successful, he was conscious, he could talk and move his body, he recognized us all, we were very grateful that everything had gone well, but suddenly he had complications, a clot had been formed in the area where the tumor was been removed and they had to intervene him again. When he came out of the surgery this time he didn't look very well anymore, he found it hard to talk and to understand things so much more, right now he is in recovery and his capability of talking and moving is fortunately improving. But we just received the results of the biopsy and the tumor is indeed cancerous, the doctor said that he will have to receive chemotherapy and radiotherapy for 6 months because if he don’t receive these treatments he could die in 5 months because the tumor grows back YES or YES and now we have no money to continue with these treatments that are the next step to eliminate cancer.
