¡Hola! Somos un centro ocupacional de personas con discapacidad intelectual que atendemos a 54 personas, somos un centro familiar con recursos limitados.
Actualmente en nuestro servicio hay muchas personas que no tienen comunicación verbal y eso les dificulta su día a día. Esto les supone no poder expresar sus deseos, necesidades, anhelos o lo que les preocupa.
Creemos que esto es una handicap a la hora de participar de una forma activa en la sociedad y también en el mismo trabajo, ya que no pueden expresar si aquello que realizan les satisface o preferirían hacer otro.
Para ello, dos de las educadoras que trabajamos en el centro hemos realizado un curso de sistemas alternativos y/o aumentativos de comunicación (formas de expresión distantes al lenguaje hablado, que tienen como objetivo augmentar y/o compensar las dificultades de comunicación y lenguaje de muchas personas con discapacidad).
El proyecto consiste en primero evaluar la comprensión de cada persona de nuestro servició para así en segundo lugar poder crear un sistema aumentativo y/o alternativo de comunicación (SAAC) personalizado.
Para poder hacer esta evaluación requerimos de un material especifico que solo vende la federación de autismo de Castilla y León Kit test Comfor

Hello! We are an occupational center and our main objective is the preparation of people with intellectual disabilities for life and work.
We are a small family center ( we serve 54 people) and we have limited resources.
We try to provide persons with intellectual disabilities the psychosocial capacitation and job habilitation, in order to achievethe màximum development of their personal anb labor capacities to improve their possibilities of social Integration and to achieve an improvement of their quality of life.
Currently in our service there are many people who do not have verbal communication and that makes their day to day more difficult.
This means not being able to express their wishes, needs, desires or what worries them.
We belive that this is a handicap when they participate in an active way in society and also in the same workplace.
For this, two of the educators that work in the center have carried out a course on alternative and augmentativesystems of comunication ( forms of expression distant from spoken language difficulties of many people with disabilities).
The project that we want to make, consist of first evaluating the understanding of each person in our center so as to be able to create a personalized augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
To be able to makes this evaluation we need a specific material that we can not achive and that only sells in Spain, the Autism Federation of Castilla y León. Kit test comfor
