Help "Jackson Five" Orphaned Cubs!

Donation protected

Help Ben Kilham, Biologist and Bear Rehabilitator. He has taken over the care and rehabilitation of four orphaned cubs whose mother was killed by a hunter. They were lovingly know as the "Jackson Five", and were very revered by the community. The loss of Momma Bear was devastating.

The rescue operation could have never taken place, if not for Ben Kilham. He has worked with, and has studied the behavior of bears for many years. He has rescued over 130 bears in NH.

Even the smallest donation will help, as I plan to spread this as far and wide, as possible. Care of one cub will cost approximately $1500 , he has all four cubs, and may be receiving another orphaned Jackson cub. This job is not a paying one. It is an act of love, kindness and the respect for wildlife. These cubs will remain with him through the winter, then it will be determined whether or not they are ready to be released. They will remain on his preserve until that time. Much of the costs come out-of-pocket and the desire to help can be overshadowed by the inability to do so, financially.

OUR combined effort got these cubs rescued, now let's help take care of them!
