Axl Heady’s Big Fight with Cancer ... continues

Axl is 3yrs old and is battling a cancer of the brain called a Pilomyxoid Astrocytoma. Axl was diagnosed at 10 months old after struggling since 12 wks old with serve symptoms from this cancer . We have walked thru this journey by faith , not by sight as we didn’t know what the future looked for our sweet boy ! So we prepared to fight , and that we have done for almost 3 years now ! Axl’s body has been riddled with many other potentially fatal conditions and illnesses that we will have to closely manage for the rest of life , with those struggles God has shown us miracles in Axl’s journey ... the most important was the the cancer responding to chemo allowing us to get rid of more than half of this extremely large tumor , and this summer were granted our first official chemo break , we would wait , watch , see what this tumor would do ???
We believed and prayed for remission, that this cancer would be stopped and done over during this break . September 2019 we were faced with more devastating news that Axl’s cancer is back growing , Axl’s BRAF gene mutation (cancer fire started basically ) has showed its ugly face , and unless every cancer cell is gone , we have a 50 %chance of continued growth .
We are now faced with a whole new season of battles , we are working our way down a list of chemo options , further you go down from 1 st line defense chemo drugs often show less results ,become trials or experimental drugs -which is where we are at the mercy of drugs that aren’t made for children or not fully approved for children, then may face possible radiation treatments as a last resort as his young body probably couldn’t handle right now !
No child should should have to fight these battles , No parent should carry these fears or burdens , No parent wants to have to set up a gofundme account for their baby .... but here I am asking for your help ....??
This cancer will b no match for our God , we are believing these next couple years that God will crumble this cancer , it will be no more in Axl’s little body , and that Axl will be Gods LIVING Testimony!
