Hi everyone! Avalon Gathering is the first - and so far as we know, only - annual pagan festival on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. We've been running the festival every August since 2012, except for last year. We've always borne most of the cost, and admission has been free, with donations welcome. This year we've decided that festival admission will be by donation.
For 2018 we've decided to launch a fundraising campaign. You can donate any amount, but as in life, the more you give, the more you get! See the Rewards schedule below. In addition to the Rewards, festival attendance will be by donation: $25 per adult, and $50 per family. Your donations will go towards the costs of putting on the festival, which include insurance, web hosting, sanitation, setup & teardown, security, entertainment, activities, groundskeeping, construction and cleanup.
Rewards, Rewards, Rewards!
Here are the rewards we're offering for each level of donation:
$10 - $24: One half hour massage or Reiki treatment (can be redeemed anytime)
$25: Festival Admission for one adult (18+)
$35 - $49: Seat on the Judge's Panel for the Bardic Competition (with guaranteed gifts of alcohol and/or chocolate!)
$50: Festival Admission for one family (2 adults + any number of children)
$50 - $99: One hour massage or Reiki treatment (can be redeemed anytime)
Over $100: One 2-night stay in our camping cabin (sleeps two - breakfast included) - some restrictions apply.
Avalon Gathering will run from Friday, August 24 to Sunday, August 26, 2018 in Middle River, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
