Austin, 16, Double Amputee

On April 21, 2018,  Austin , 15, was hit by a drunk driver while assisting with a stalled vehicle, causing him to be pinned between the two vehicles.  Austin has broken hips and pelvis, and he lost both of his legs- yes, he is now a DOUBLE-AMPUTEE AT 15-YEARS-OLD!! If you know this boy you would understand what this means for him, he has always been the typical "All American Boy" enjoying hunting, fishing, and baseball among other things. Jay, Austin's older brother, was witness to this and he too was injured. Austin's mother is the sole provider of the family as his father is disabled and unable to work. With upcoming surgeries that Austin will endure, his mother will need to take some time off from work to be with him. There will be endless medical bills that will need to be paid.
