Please, we need your help!

The Atlanta Trombone Ensemble  is a non-professional, passionate group of like-minded trombone players who just want to make beautiful music at the highest level possible. Our goal is to bring the beauty of the trombone choir to the masses, and to have some fun while doing it.

We are honored to have been invited to perform at the International Trombone Festival  at the University of Iowa on July 13th, 2018. To give some perspective, there will be over 4000 participants, and we will be one of only 2 non-professional, non-collegiate, truly "community" ensembles invited to perform. We will be sharing a recital with the fabulous Rose City Trombones from Portland, Oregon as well as feature soloist Natalie Mannix from the University of North Texas.

How will funds be used?

Funds raised will go directly to help offset the expenses of members making the trek to Iowa City to help cover registration fees, transportation (most are driving from Atlanta to Iowa City), housing and food. No one will make a "profit" from these donations, and every bit will be equally distributed among those who actually make the performance. We have over 20 members hoping to make the trip, and your donation could make the difference in who is able to attend.

In the event we have any funds remaining, they will be donated to a local public Title I school to help provide private or group instruction for students who otherwise would not be able to afford.
