Hurricane Animal Rescue

We are Kevin & Dianne Lockhart from Parkville MO.  Kathy Plant has been our Groomer for over 15 years and the funds from this GoFundMe will go directly to Kathy to help her save animals and reunite pets with their families.  She has done many disaster rescues and there is no better person to go into this type of situation.

When distaster strikes, Kathy Plant transforms her mobile grooming truck into a camper and heads for ground zero to help rescue the animals stranded in the flood. This included Houston and all surrounding areas affected by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.  Now she is preparing to go back and help with support to both the Florida Keys and Puerto Rico.

She has been helping pets through national disasters since Hurricane Katrina in 2005.  She helps rescue, care for, and relocate dogs and cats separated from their families.  She has a heart of gold and would give her last dollar or food to help a pet in need.  All funds will be used to help buy gas for her mobile van, pet food, pet supplies, and transportation for the animals to a safe environment. 

Pets are left behind because people feel that they have no choice.  Kathy will help faciliate options so pets will not suffer needlessly.  Currently, she is preparing to leave for the Florida Keys.
