About us
We are ASSIDA which stands for the African Sub-Sahara International Development Agency. Our agency is a registered charity, not-for–profit, non- political and non-religious international humanitarian agency. We work to support those who are in desperate need at a local, regional and international levels. Additionally, we work to create strong relations with local and international agencies in order to obtain support in all our endeavours. We are the voice of the voiceless.

What we do
ASSIDA works on a diverse number of projects both locally and internationally. On a local level we help those struggling to find housing, jobs and seek any necessary services through our referrals and housing programs. On an international level ASSIDA supports children who are struggling to meet education needs and basic needs. Through the orphan program sponsors are able to support children that are currently struggling in Sub-Sahara Africa. We are building capacity of young people from refugee backgrounds and support womens victims of the war from African countries. We support our African branches with translating training material to build capacity in their international offices.

How you will help
ASSIDA is largely supported by a number of Volunteers who work hard to support the agency and what we do. It is without the support of the volunteers that we could not achieve all that we have so far. Therefore, the money we raise during this GoFundMe campaign will go towards the volunteers capacity to continue to work hard in their position. The money will be used for materials needed for volunteers to keep the agency running and organised. It will also be used as to fund the office that the volunteers work in. This will ensure that the volunteers continuously have a safe, clean and well equip space to work in.
