About us 

We are ASSIDA which stands for the African Sub-Sahara International Development Agency. Our agency is a registered charity, not-for–profit, non- political and non-religious international humanitarian agency. We work to support those who are in desperate need at a local, regional and international levels. Additionally, we work to create strong relations with local and international agencies in order to obtain support in all our endeavours. We are the voice of the voiceless.

What we do 

ASSIDA works on a diverse number of projects both locally and internationally. On a local level we help those struggling to find housing, jobs and seek any necessary services through our referrals and housing programs. On an international level ASSIDA supports children who are struggling to meet education needs and basic needs. Through the orphan program sponsors are able to support children that are currently struggling in Sub-Sahara Africa. We are building capacity of young people from refugee backgrounds and support womens victims of the war from African countries. We support our African branches with translating training material to build capacity in their international offices.

How you will help

Currently ASSIDA supports a large number of children living in Africa and are continuously looking for more funding in order to support that large number of children who are in desperate need. ASSIDA supports children whom are ages 7-17 with basic living needs and education fees. Currently many of the children who still need help are severely malnourished and 80% are not attending school. The money that is raised through this campaign will support children in attending school. The money will also go to buy food and water for the children. Your support will give children hope for a better future.
