Ashley Nishiyama, 16 years old, took her own life, on January 17th, 2019. Her mother is a single parent and we want to help her give Ashley the funeral and memorial that Ashley truly deserves. This family does not deserve to have to struggle with financial trouble in this time of grief and pain. Any amount given would be greatly appreciated by her loved ones.Ashley was a happy jokester who attended Columbia Falls High School this year as a junior. Ashley and her brothers shared a passion for dancing and would often spend nights by the fire with their friends listening to music and dancing around without a worry in the world. Ashley and her older, beloved brother got matching tattoos just last week. Ashley was so excited and couldn't wait to show all of her friends.
Her friends have many unforgettable memories with her. The past 2 summers they would go kayaking on Lake Five and loved throwing each other in the water. Their favorite memory is when Ashley forgot to hold on to her kayak and it floated away. The 3 girls had to balance on 1 kayak and paddle to Ashley's kayak. They thought the plan was brilliant but ended up with them all in the water, laughing.
Ashley's friends remembered Ashley as the most caring person. When she invited her friends over, she loved to play video games on her computer, and always wanted to include everyone. One of them would be in charge of the microphone, one in charge of the mouse and the other would have the keyboard. They had so much fun together.
Ashley got her drivers’ license just three months ago and was enjoying “being an adult”.
Ashley loved her cats and she loved ice cream.
Please remember Ashley's life and the positive impact she made in so many people’s lives.
Heaven gained another beautiful angel.
