"Sometimes you can do everything right and things can still end up so wrong."

After a night out in with friends, Ashley Murray and her friend Blake called an uber in order to make their way home. Tragedy struck when a drunk driver ran a red light with excessive speed and hit their uber. The accident occured at 2:10 a.m. at the intersection of Artesia and Aviation in Redondo Beach. Blake is curreently in a stable condition and soon to be discharged, however, Ashley's condition is extremely critical and has yet to wake up. Ashley has sustained substantial brain injuries and has had multiple surgeries in hopes to minimize lasting brain damage. The length of her stay in the ICU is unknown but doctors and nurses are working tirelessly to bring our Ashley back to us as soon as possible.

Ashley was set to be graduating in June 2018 from the University of Arizona and heading off to nursing school with the dream of becoming a NICU nurse.  She is a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority and is loved by so many. She is a bright and positive person, beautiful inside and out. Her infectious laugh, smile and goofy personality charmed everyone she encountered.  She is a very loved daughter, sister, cousin, niece, and friend to all of us.

In order to minimize the stress and anxiety on her family during the holiday season, we ask for everyone's help to donate any amount to assist in her extensive medical bills for her current and future procedures during her long haul of a fight. We understand that money could be very tight during the holiday season but any amount can help and we ask that you PLEASE share this page with anyone and everyone you know on any platform that you see fit.

More importantly please send positive energy and prayers for the strength and recovery of Ashley Elizabeth Murray.

We love you more than words can describe Ashley. Keep Fighting! We will be here, always.

Directly below this sentence we will be providing continued status updates on her condition:
