Pay Art Forward
Donation protected
Hello, my name is David Gerbstadt. I am an artist.
I got a note from someone who donated money to me.
Hello David: I hope you are doing well. I have donated to you in the past and received 2 paintings, "You are Loved" and "Never Give Up"; both are very nice. I have a colleague who is based in the Netherlands. Her name is Wilma. Last year, she was hit by a car while on her bicycle, and the road to recovery has been very long. Surgery after surgery, and now, a few months ago, she had a stroke. Can you send me an inspiring painting and note that I will then send to her as a gift? I would appreciate that. Thanks, Jim
This request touched my heart...
I was run over by a 14 wheeler while on my bicycle in on December 28, 2007. I am still troubled with PTSD and pain from the accident. Making art full time as an artist is a major force in my world that makes me happy and able to spread joy and love. That and my rescue dogs.
Here is the painting I made for Wilma.
Acrylic on canvas. 16" x 20"

I thought of a way to "pay it forward" that would help someone else, a non-profit company, or speacil group.
Your donation sends "Random art for a smile"
Your donation to me has art mailed to someone you know who might need a little color in their world or encouragement.
OR I can mail art to a non-profit who can auction or sell the art.
Here is how it works:
$1 - Gets 1 "Be Kind" button mailed anywhere you wish.
(90 different buttons available - 48 shown)
Have button mailed to a friend or someone you know.
OR mail buttons to a school, non-profit, etc.

$2 - Magnets for frig or anything metal. They look like the ones above as buttons.
