Arlyn Pillay Art Gallery Memorial
RIP Arlyn Pillay . I'm so...shocked and saddened. You understood and supported the fact I finally had the freedom to pursue my degree. I met you about 6 years ago in frank and sons before you got your gallery. As the years go by, I saw that people are finally recognizing your talents that you started having your own gallery. You mixed video games and things that us nerds love and made your art classes fun with that. You perform too. You are so talented and I was so happy and proud that your dream finally came true! I looked to you and your success when i start to doubt my abilities. Too young to leave us and to leave in such a way breaks my heart. You have made a difference and touched many people's hearts. The art comminity had been robbed out of a wonderful talented artist. Rest in peace, my friend. You have the sky as your canvas now.
In my briefly enduring friendship with Arlyn, I could immediately sense that he was an astoundingly beautiful, intelligent, and enthusiastically caring person, in addition to being an extremely talented, versatile, and productive artist. It is shocking to me that I could lose such a rare breed as Arlyn or any one of my family or friends, faster than the bat of an eye with the mere shot of a gun. So I hold all of my kin a little tighter tonight with the radiant spirit of Arlyn and his mom to carry with me in a grieving embrace of the tragic, chaotic beauty of our own impermanence in this mysterious universe we are able to briefly yet profoundly experience together.
Arylin, you are always a good friend to have around. When we use to sing along before. I always like the art galleries you do. Rest in peace my friend
