Aquatica Synchro Club is a non-profit, parent run club operating in Winnipeg and Steinbach, Manitoba.
In honor of its 10th anniversary, the athletes' dads/spouses wanted to do something fun! Eleven have joined to learn the sport in support of their daughters/spouses. They will perform their routine at the year-end watershow on May 25th. It is also a great way to promote the sport to boys, as they are also encouraged to join!
As they are learning, synchro/artistic swimming is a challenging sport requiring lots of strength and endurance.
The team is fundraising to cover training costs of just under $2000. Anything beyond that will be used to provide training enhancements for our Aquatica athletes, outside service providers (such as strength and flexibility coaches), and technology to help them see their improvements.
If we reach our fundraising goal, a video of their routine will be posted online at the Aquatica Synchro website, www.aquaticasynchro.com, for supporters to see!
