Apryl's Big Climb

1,311... The number of stairs Apryl Roberts (7 months pregnant at the time) climbed on March 20th, 2016 to reach the top of the Columbia Tower. Apryl did this to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and to stay in great pregnancy shape.
Two days later… Apryl's life changed with a diagnosis of an extremely rare and aggressive form of breast cancer called Inflammatory Breast Cancer. IBC is difficult to detect and even more difficult to fight.
The statistics don't give a favorable outlook to someone with this disease…But the statistics don't know Apryl's strength. The statistics don't know her will to live for her family - her baby girl due at the end of May, her 2 year old daughter (Charlee), and her husband (Peter).
Their road ahead will be difficult, but it may be little easier if they have some help from their family, friends, and anyone else that wants to support a wonderful family in a tough situation.
If we raise $100 for each step that Apryl took the two days before her life changed... we would raise $131,100!
Although, no amount of money in the world will "fix" this for Apryl, this money will go a long way to providing healthcare for her and security for her family.
