Government Shutdown NEED HELP Emergency Move

 

We are facing an emergency at the worst possible time, on January 8th our landlord informed us that he is selling the house we call home and is terminating the remainder of our month-to-month lease.

My fiance, Jennifer Erwin, was furloughed from her job due to the federal government shut down. To make the situation worst my company has reduced my hours. We are unable to afford the sudden move and our landlord is unable to accommodate this hardship due to his financial situation. Additionally, we have an elderly cat will be making the move with us and most rental properties require hundreds of dollars for pet deposits and fees which makes the move unaffordable. I want nothing more than to be able to keep our family together in a situation as dire as this. We have prioritized paying bills and debt to avoid harming our credit during the government shutdown. 

I'm afraid that we are running out of time to find a new home to rent. We have exhausted our resources. This is a scary situation and we are looking for help in any way possible to ensure that we are able to secure a new home to rent by February 1, 2019. At this time there is no immediate plan to re-open the government and we have yet to receive any assistance from our state government.
