We’re raising funds to reimburse production and to market our film, “A Porta Potty Odyssey”
Synopsis:
A romantic comedy set in the 90’s doubling as a coming of age story that delves into the adolescent anxiety of teenage love. The protagonist, Trevor, needs to move past his friends bad advice in order to escape the friend friend zone and prove his worth to Caitlin (his love). This story will take you through stress, humor, nostalgia and at some point... there will definitely be a Porta Potty.
We’ll use some of the funds raised by this campaign to reimburse production. We were fortunate enough to have a stellar crew and professional equipment at discounted rates. However as young filmmakers, Mia (19) and Ricky (20), we can use ALL the help we can get.
Primarily though, funds raised will go into marketing efforts to expand our audience. We’re currently getting screened at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and potentially, CANNES (all the way in France!) We’d like to apply to many other film festivals, which we can’t do without your guys' help.
