Any One of Us: Words from Women in Prison is a collection of stories from formerly and currently incarcerated women from across the nation moving forward toward healing, understanding, and change with the goal of using their writing and voices to impact policy, laws and treatment of incarcerated women. Together these writings reveal the deep connection between women in prison and the violence that often brings them there.
We are raising money to cover the basic costs of the production. These costs include: insurance, ABC licenses, space rentals, and publicity costs.
If we can cover these basic costs, than our profits go directly towards starting a non profit in Humboldt County that serves formerly/currently incarcerated people. Currently, there are limited resources for justice involved people, and our long term goals include: tattoo removals, record sealing clinics, employment workshops, educating the public on working with formerly justice involved people, and much more!
We are truly grateful for any donations. This project would not be possible without the generous support from members of our community.
