Anthony Herbert Funeral Expenses
Anthony passed away suddenly today, January 17, 2017. He was a wonderful person and a beloved son to our dear friends, Lori and Mike Herbert. He was loved and will be missed by many. I'm hoping this will help Lori and Mike pay for funeral expenses - an event no parent should ever have to plan.
"MARQUETTE, MI -- A Lapeer native and Northern Michigan University football player died Tuesday morning in his residence hall room, according to a WLUC-TV6 report.
The death of 20-year-old sophomore Anthony Herbert was confirmed to the Northern Michigan TV station by NMU President Fritz Erickson.
"It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that Northern Michigan University lost a member of its family today," Erickson said in a statement.
A cause for Herbert's death has not been determined, according to the TV6 report.
Herbert, a 6-foot-4, 315-pound lineman, played in all 11 games this season, earning a spot on the all-GLIAC academic team.
The construction management major was a Lapeer High School graduate who earned four varsity letters playing football."
