My uncle recently lost his dogs in the Gage Park Community. We looked around for them in the community and checked in at the animal shelter with no luck. A lady that lives in the community posted on the Lost Dogs Chicago Facebook page that she had found them. My uncle commented on the post claiming his dogs and showing proof of ownership for them. However, the lady gave my uncle's dogs to a stranger with no proof of ownership. This stranger threw both of my uncle's dogs from the top floor of the Christ Hospital parking lot in Oak Lawn, IL. One's name is Güero and the other one is Angel. Heartbreakingly, Güero did not survive the fall and Angel is at the animal hospital being treated with a broken leg. The details of this situation are still being investigated, but this stranger has a history of animal abuse and animal cruelty, these are not the first dogs he hurts! I ask from friends and family that you keep my uncle in your prayers as well as his dogs please! We also want to ask you for monetary donations for Angel and his medical needs. Anything is appreciated, we just want our Angel to make a qucik and smooth recovery. Any money that is left over will be donated to the Animal Welfare League at Chicago Ridge.
