On Wednesday, January 4, 2017, my brother Eric Dorman was at work when he suffered a massive stroke.  He had a bleed that covered all of his brain. He has been in critical but stable condition in ICU. Doctors have relieved the pressure on his brain and have been diligently trying to keep his blood pressure low to prevent presure on his brain. Currently, Eric is in a non-medically induced coma. We continue to pray for the doctors as they use medical science to help Eric but our faith in God will not waiver and our faith is not in the doctors. We know who the Great Healer is. We are believing for a miracle for Eric. While we continue to pray and fight for him there are needs that will be going unmet without blessings from others. It is very difficult for us to ask for help, but we know that others love and want to help Eric, April and their two children Kaylee (7) and Ethan (5). Eric will be in the hospital for a "couple of months" at minimum per the doctors estimation and then there will be a long road of care and therapy needed. It is our greatest heartfelt desire that we be able to help meet the basic needs for April, Kaylee and Ethan. Any funds raised will be used to maintain the mortgage payment on the house, pay utilities, insurance premiums, food, gas, and the day to day increase in expenses without a second income. April has been away from work unpaid as she has been by Eric's side. Our family thanks you for your many prayers, visits and gifts of help. Eric would be so humbled to know of the outpouring of love he has received. God will bless you all for your kindness to this family in this difficult time. Our family will not ask "why" because we know God has a plan. We trust His plan. God bless.
