Angela is one of our Securitas security employees that is assigned to St. Paul Public Schools. She joined our team last August after moving to St. Paul from Indiana..
She is assigned to one of our High Schools and has a great relationship with the students and staff at the school. Angela is on time and seldom misses a day of work.
When she first moved to Minnesota she had very few resources and was living in a local shelter. She has been saving her money to get a small apartment and on December 29th she was able to sign a lease and move into her new place. While moving her stuff out of a locker at the shelter she was attacked by a man she did not know for no apparent reason.
The attack left her with 5 stab wounds to her face and body. She was unconscious for 4 days in the critical care unit.
Being unable to work Angela is afraid she will have to start over again, living in a shelter.
We hope to help Angela stay in her apartment with funds from this effort until she can return to work in about 3 months.
Her needs include; rent, groceries, bus passes, medical transportation and incidentals.
