Hello Family and Friends,
We want to first thank you all for so many loving and supportive texts, phone calls and visits. Nathan and I are trying to respond to each and every one becuase they mean so much to us. However the list is growing of all the people that care so much for our sweet Andrew that it is hard to keep everyone updated.
What happened:
Sunday, May 8th at 12:44am Andrew was riding in a friends car. His friend was speeding and lost control of the vehicle. He hit the first tree and then a second, which caused his car to split in two pieces. They both had their seat belts on, but they were both ejected from the vehicle. The amazing Woodland FD was quickly on scene and took care of the Andrew and his friend Josh so they could be safely transported by ambulance to UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento.
The Ladd family has incurred significant expenses related to lifesaving efforts that were made for Andrew Ladd. This Go Fund Me account has been set up for Medical and Funeral expenses.
