Andrew Gettle fighting for his life
Andrew was in a horrible motorcycle accident last week that led to him having to be airlifted to Boise. He suffered many broken bones, road rash, and has been in an induced coma due to brain swelling and lung aspiration. He is fighting at this moment. He is still in critical condition with a long road ahead of him. These funds will go directly to Lea and Andrew, anything helps. Much love and prayers for him and his family at this time.+ Read More
Andrew’s doing great with his new prosthetic! He still has surgery on both elbows ahead but is keeping a positive attitude and staying busy in his shop. We can’t begin to thank everyone for the love and support during this time, we’re so thankful for the support from friends and family ❤️
Update from Lea: Again, thank you so much for all the love and support throughout this very stressful and emotional time in our lives. We’re excited that we get to head home tomorrow (after 65 days in the hospital)! Although Andrew is still recovering from a brain injury and getting his left leg amputated, he’s been kicking butt in rehab so I have no doubt the progress will continue to shock everyone he works with! It’s truly a miracle he’s still with us, we’re excited to get back to living our lives to the fullest, thanks again for all the love!
Update from Lea: Andrew has had a decompressive craniectomy, surgery on both his ankles and two vertebrae fused in his back. He is still on life support and in critical condition primarily due to his aspirated lungs and the swelling in his brain. He has many more months of fighting, recovery and rehabilitation ahead of him. All the love, support and prayers from our family and friends is greatly appreciated and means more than you will ever know.
