An amazing opportunity!!

My name is Lashai Ben Salmi,

I am 17 years old and wish to one day become a global leader and mentor for child entrepreneurs. I started this journey when I was just 9 years old with my younger brother, Tray-Séan, when we co-authored a book called Kidz That Dream Big - Essential Tips On How To Have Fun, Dream Big and Make Money Doing What you LOVE
Last year I had the amazing opportunity to be selected as the winner of Regan Hillyer International Young Influencers Scholarship. I was one Andre only WINNER selected out of ALL THE 13yrs - 17yr old children/youth entrepreneurs applicants across the globe and I need your help to get there!
I have started this GoFundMe campaign in the hope of raising the money needed for return flights for myself, my younger brother Tray-Séan (who has also been nominated) and our mum, Sabrina.
My own family like many other families in the UK and around the World has faced some pretty tough challenges. In life, we have two choices to either accept the hand that we have been dealt or we can find the strength courage and wisdom to take action, improving and enriching our lives. I decided that I wanted to take positive action.


It has not been an easy path but we are moving forward. My passion is to help other families who have and are facing similar challenges in life with their own children and perhaps other families that they know or can relate to where children are suffering. I am the eldest of 5 children and I have been at my brothers and sisters side and always will be and I love them with every ounce of my soul and being. We can do more and I ask you with an open heart to help to continue my journey in supporting other children.


No child should ever be alone
No child should ever be bullied
No child should be unloved
No child should ever be abused
We can do something about but only if we stand together, united and support one another. After all today’s children are potentially the leaders of tomorrow. I ask you to kindly open your heart to your inner child and say to yourself could your childhood have been better? If it could have been and you experienced some of the many challenges that children are facing right now – Then please help and offer a gift from your heart to mine, so that I may continue my journey to help other children who have felt like I did and together we can and we will change their lives forever.

I can lift a pebble, a stone, perhaps ten stones but I cannot move the mountain, but I do have my hands underneath it and I am lifting with all my heavenly might. Please give me your hand and help me lift this precious mountain.


We are truly blessed and grateful for all the support we have received so far but we still need more help and I am relying on the generosity of friends, family and strangers to help us get there.
I feel this opportunity will give me the skills and exposure I need to be able to pay it forward to others through my ongoing work. I really hope you can help me and whatever you are prepared to give I am really humbled and grateful! I really don’t like asking for money and while I find it difficult to do so I also realise this is not just about me but also about the people I can help.

This book is being authored by Dr. Marina Nani who is an amazing woman, mentor and coach and she will include your/family/brand story in this book.
