Wildlife Conservation Internship

I have a wonderful opportunity to go to the Greater Kruger National Park in South Africa as a field research intern. I will be doing some very exciting work on preditor-prey interaction, a black rhino study, elephant monitoring, and census-taking of animals in the area.
It is a chance for me to get my foot in the door to my dream career in wildlife conservation. Indlovu West offers an amazing setup where I will live among the animals (lions, resident leopard, elephants, and more) and will truly be able to experience field research at its best.
I plan to go in the fall of this year, or possibly start in the winter months, depending on how much money I can save from my own working and what I raise from you all. I need to provide them with a fee for food, housing, transportation, and program costs, which is about $2,000 per month. My goal is to have enough for 3 months there in order to get the most out of my experience and be able to track research progress, and currently my limit is at 2.
