Amie's fight club

Our world was turned upside down 7 weeks ago when Amie was diagnosed with advanced stage 4 nasopharyngeal cancer.

A CT scan showed a huge tumour which had a very low chance of being curative . Up until now she has had surgery to take strips of tissue from her ovary for cryogenic freezing to preserve her fertility to try and fulfill her dream of becoming a Mum some day.  She has also had two rounds of pretty aggressive chemotherapy.  She was having difficulty breathing through her nose and only had 15% hearing in her left ear due to the tumour.  These symptoms have improved enough for her to be accepted for proton beam therapy in Jacksonville in Florida.  She will fly out there on 1st January 2019 where she will  stay for 9 weeks to have daily treatment to try and rid her of this awful disease.  She isn't working at the moment and is on long term sick leave from her full time job. The financial burden of her illness will most definitely take its toll while she is having treatment in the U.S. I would like to invite family, friends and anyone who wishes to donate to help her through the next part of her cancer journey.  A sincere heart felt thank you to everyone from Amie & family.
