Food for Amelia

Looks can be deceiving, can't they? This is Amelia Schmidt. She just turned 9 and has been living with Eosinophilic Gastroenteritis her entire life. Basically, she is allergic to all foods. She also suffers from extreme environmental allergies. Her allergy is so severe she can't even be near food or people who might have food on the hands or breath.
Even though his insurance did not cover it, until recently they got by on their own, but Amelia's father has lost his job.

Amelia needs a specific formula to survive. It's the only "food" she can eat. She needs 8 cases a month. It is $132 a case!
