Help the helper

My name is Marcus Thomas I am a 33 year old male who lives in Detroit and has worked in nursing homes and hospitals settings my entire life I have dedicated most of my free time to the volunteering or signing up for extra work at my job whenever I can I have Ambitions of going to nursing school to further my career and better help the world unfortunately last weekend on Saturday March 17th a fire broke out at my apartment building where I was living on one of my only days off I went to the gym I came back home about 9:30 run me some bath water and then I started to smell smoke I then opened up my front door and I could see nothing but dark black smoke and I could feel the intense Heat I could not make it to the stairwell so that I could Escape so I had to jump from my third story window I made it out with my life which I am Most Blessed for but unfortunately I broke my ankle in three separate places and had to have screws to realign it I am currently still in the hospital simply because I don't have a strong family structure who can support me in this time so unfortunately I'm at a position where I need help not only so that I can make a healthy recovery but so that I can move forward with my life as well the road ahead will be long and difficult but I'm sure with help I will more than make it and in the end this all will work out for not only me but for the entire Community as well I have extreme faith that everything will be okay and I just ask that you give what you can any help will be greatly appreciated
