Amari's Fund

In February of 2016 Amari  (age 10)  was taken to the hospital for an emergency apendecitis surgery. The surgery was successful and Amari seemed to be recovering well, but then overnight things changed drastically as Amari's health suddenly begun to deteriorate. 

The doctors begun to treat Amari for medical issues which they were still unable to diagnose. While receiving treatment Amari's body became resistant to the medications being given to her and she soon became septic.  Sadly the doctors have yet to determine the cause of Amari's decline in health. 

Currently Amari is being sedated and has been sedated for the past 2 weeks. Unsure of what to do next the doctors believe this is their best option until they are able to determine what went wrong. 

At this point, there are many uncertainties regarding the surgery, recover time, follow-up treatments, and time away from work. Even though Natalie (Amari's Mother) is  maintaining a wonderful and positive attitude, the reality of the situation is that she will face challenges as she has 2 other children to take care of and is unable to work while Amari is in the hospital.  

So, in support of this beautiful family, we’ve set-up a go-fund-me page to help alleviate financial stress with the added costs of childcare, any uncovered medical expenses, and the cost of not working.

Any donation, big or small, will be greatly appreciated! Natalie  and her daughters have touched the lives of many, and  knowing they have so many friends and family that love and support them, we know many would want to contribute towards Amari's recovery.
