ALS PowerChair for Rod Hartley
Donation protected
Rod Hartley has been one of the head coaches of Colorado State Men's Rugby for a number of years now. Recently Rod was diagnosed with ALS, which has progressed rather rapidly and put him in a wheel chair in a matter of months.
Rod's diagnosis hasn't stopped him from being there for the team. In fact, his drive to be there for the team has grown. Rod has been there for us and our rugby family in everyway he can. He hasn't let this diagnosis stop him from doing whatever it takes to support the team: whether it's speaking to sponsors, recruiting for our team, or helping a player reach his full potential. He has truly sacrificed for this team, and we, as his family, don't want to let his fight and sacrifices go unnoticed or unrewarded.
Rod has a donated power chair, but needs to acquire his own chair because the old one must be returned. The insurance company needs a deposit of $3,850, and then they will cover the rest. No one deserves assistance more than Rod, who has not only put this team but many others before himself as long as we have known him. He is the greatest man we know, and any and all help is appreciated.
