The Alphabet Children's Library needs a new home!
Last summer our library became homeless due to space limitations at the local school that was hosting it. For lack of an alternative location, our books were packed up and put into storage and, sadly, the library was shut down.
We miss our books! In order to make our library accessible again, we would like to reopen it in a new, commercial location. However, as a small organization with limited funding, we lack the financial resources to equip our library space and cover all running costs.
With the necessary funding, we will be able to bring back the Alphabet Library for our children to benefit from and share this unique and valuable resource with the local community.

Alphabet e.V. is a non-profit organization and parent initiative in Kelkheim, Germany offering education opportunities to English speaking children through extra-curricular native tongue instruction and cultural activities. As a team of parents dedicated to promoting English language literacy among children, our mission is to create learning opportunities and support other parents in their effort to cultivate their children's English skills by teaching them to read and write and instilling in them a love of reading.
With our Children's English Library we aspire to ecourage young readers, generate interest in English literature and provide an invaluable service to the English speaking community in our area.
