Alpha & Cory's Recovery
Donation protected

Thursday morning, after taking my dog Alpha on a walk, my brother and Alpha were attacked by a wandering pitbull in our front yard.
My brother Cory wrestled the pitbull away from Alpha with the help of a neighbor, and then rushed Alpha to the vet.
Alpha had to surgery to repair his open wounds, receiving staples in his ear, staples and stitches in his upper arm, and stitches in his lower paw.
My brother Cory had to go to the hospital to receive stitches on his wounds as well, including his arm and leg.
Additionally, my brother received a round of rabies shots, and must return to the hospital for second, third, and fourth rounds of rabies shots.
The vet bill alone has been $1300, not including the follow up visits to remove the stitches and staples. We haven't even received the hospital bill for Cory's visits yet.
We obviously do not have this kind of money laying around - it's a struggle to pay for these bills, but we are responsible pet owners and want the best care for our baby Alpha, and Cory too. It is unfortunate for us that not everyone else can be responsible pet owners, too. But we don't wish any harm upon the other dog or it's owner - we just need all the help we can get to get this taken care of. Anything helps and is GREATLY appreciated.
