OUR PURPOSE
Alliedscope Collective are putting on an accessible and inclusive exhibition that showcases stories of underrepresented artists titled Mixed Feelings. We create community surrounding stories of hope and resilience and give a platform to those who have felt unheard or excluded. In our first exhibition, we present the work of Toronto-based artists who identify as Deaf, disabled, and mentally ill. We have the generous support of Tangled Arts + Disability and a partnership with Storywave Collective. Our event will take place on April 29th, 2017 - and we hope to see you there!
YOUR CONTRIBUTION
By supporting our cause, you will directly support our artists, bringing their work to new audiences and allowing their stories to be told. Your contribution will allow us to pay equitable artist fees, as well as reach a broad audience.
As a thank you, the names of contributors will be displayed on our website. Your support makes this event possible!
ABOUT ALLIEDOSCOPE COLLECTIVE
The team of Alliedoscope Collective is made up of five passionate female artists and early career art administrators coming from various backgrounds. We are Kate Buote, Samyuktha Punthambekar, Maurena Taylor, Hüma Üster, and Christina Volpini.
