All For a House
This is a Campaign is to raise some money to help cover the costs of the Closing costs and the surprise hidden fees that are included in the home buying process. This will benefit Myself, My Fiancée Amy, and my best friend Brittany Davis and her husband Jay Davis. At this moment, we have spent out of pocket:
$500 - Apprasial (we were informed in the beginning that this would be paid by the Mortgage Company, which turned out to be false)
$1,375 - Moving Costs (From Illinois to Georgia)
$1,000 - Earnest Money (This is money that paid to the Realtor so that they can process the offer and start the process.)
We still need to pay to have the utilities turned on and the final closing costs. We are denied the First Time Home Buyers Closing Costs assistance. The sellers were nice enough to offer to cover $4,500 of the closing costs, this still makes it where we have to take almost $3,000 of our Retirement (401k)
The money will be used to pay back the $3,000 that we need to take out of our retirement, as well as the costs to get moved in and turn on all of the utilities.
This is important because for the first time in our lives, something has been going right. We can finally live the dream of owning our own home, plus it will allow us to give back to the people we care the most about, our Family and friends. At this moment, we don't have enough to pay off the bills from the place we just moved from as our budget was tight and we were not able to plan for these surprise charges and fees. So anything at all will help.
The deadline is 04/10/2018, as thats when everything will be finalized. anything at all will help us in getting this dream of ours flying high.
Everyone that supports us, your names will be left on the Property, in eaither Concrete, or carved into wood, so that everyone who sees the house will know that it is only possible from kind and wonderful people like you. if we get enough names, we will erect a wall to honor each and every person who contributed. We will also send a special thank you gift to everyone who donates $50 or more.
