Hello Everyone and our friends from USC!!
My very dear bubbly friend Loverna Gee Maquilan from University of San Carlos - TC (BSIT) is fighting bravely for her life. She is a single mom to a very bright and intelligent son Zoei.
Times had been tough for her recently. She has been diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer: Papillary Carcinoma Stage 1. But despite this, Love remained Optimistic and still keeps a big smile on her face regardless of the life challenges she is facing right now.
She recently had been under Thyroidectomy (Removal of Thyroid Glands) because her doctors found tumor in her thyroid and upon biopsy, they found out its Malignant.
She has been under radiotherapy recently, and after her post-radiation check (Meta Scan), the monster cancerous cells has already spread into her left lung and sternoclavicular area
Their family has been into huge financial pressure because Love's mom (Auntie Lorna) has been in and out of the hospital as well.
As Love's friends from college, Ann Carmel Canedo and I would like to ask if anyone would be willing to help aleviate her financial pressure and stress through cash donation that will go to her Medical Funds
She will undergo a series of tests / scans / blood works and possibly treatmentsts along the way
She is unable to do some of the tests/treatments yet because she has ran out of funds and even decided to return to work to support her medical needs on top of the support she has to give to her young son.
As her friend, I can't just let her do that because CANCER is a monster, everything has to be timely and quick!.
Hope we could join Love and her son Zoie fight the biggest enemy of their lives... with any help (big or small) will be very much appreciated!!
