Ali's writing academy opportunity

I have a dream to write a book. I know, many of us do! I want to write a book to help women learn to find their way to happiness. I have a powerful story about how my Breast Cancer journey taught me to truly value myself and become a better Mum, partner, friend and human. I know it can be done. And simply. Along with my Psychology studies, getting a book out into the world will make this possible for many other women also. My personal mission statement is to "change the world, one beautiful woman at a time".

I have been offered an incredible opportunity to participate in a writing mentorship program with an international author and publisher through a half scholarship.  And while this is an unbelieveable and exciting opportunity for me to move forward with my project, after two years of next to no income throughout my Breast Cancer journey, I am not able to raise the funds myself.

I would so much appreciate any support that you may be able to help with, to enable me to accept this opportunity and get my project underway.

The program will give me author mentorship, to help me get the words onto the page. Why do I need to be mentored? And, why do I need to participate in a program? Good questions! The program will help me ensure I write a book that will be of value and enables me to have direct access to the publishing company.

The funds raised will be used entirely to directly contribute towards my fees to participate in the program. 

I do have a deadline, as the program commences on February 19th, 2018 and I am hoping to raise the funds by no later than February 12th, 2018.

It is not easy for me to be putting this campaign out there. It actually makes me feel very uncomfortable. But I am a big believer in taking calculated risks. We have to have faith, right?
